Guns. Pew pew pew.

The 2nd Amendment. That is a hotly contested topic currently. People have been extremely divided against allowing guns. Many liberals want to ban guns and many conservatives don't want to.

Conservatives believe in allowing guns, obviously with restriction. Liberals, on the other hand, believe that guns should be banned and that they are harmful to society. Conservatives argue that it is within the constitution, the document which preserves the freedom of the people, to allow people the right to bear arms. On the liberal side, they argue that it does not matter because guns are overall very dangerous. That is true though. Then again, cars can also be dangerous... and knives are also dangerous......

It's somewhat ironic how the liberals want to deny people the right, and a constitutional right that is, to own a gun, even thought they claim themselves to "support everyone" and promotes equality and rights... To them, a few incidents of gun violence should make it illegal to own guns. But that's so ironic because they are the ones who are going after Donald Trump for banning refugees because "only a little number" (it's really not...do a google search), as they claim, has been causing damage and that we should not single out all of the refugees. The same applies for illegal immigration. The illegals come over here, and while may be educated and others who may be 'beneficial' to our country, there are also many who are criminals. Now I won't go ahead and say that all of them are monsters and crazy people; that's obviously not true. Stringent regulations should be enacted versus an outright ban. The question is why does it take a few instances of gun violence for liberals to ban guns, but then when it comes a few instances of crime committed by illegal immigrants, it's suddenly okay for them to keep on coming in. And again, I'm not against immigration. It just has to be the right way, the legal way. I'm just arguing logically. I'm not stating personally what I believe.

Sincerely,
Arik Li
