Cola Wars

Everyone around the world has basically heard of either Coca-Cola or Pepsi. These two are the conglomerates that control the soda industry.

Each company engages in millions of dollars of ads and campaigning each year. Sometimes they work and sometimes they fail. Who can forget the Kylie Jenner commercial that Pepsi aired about half a year ago? Yeah, that was pretty bad. But nevertheless, these companies are fighting each other as they try to inch forward in dominating the market segment.

You think that there are multiple brands out there, but when you look on the packaging, you'll see either "The Coca-Cola Company" or "Pepsi-Co". Sadly, Pepsi has no flagship store like Coca-Cola does with the World of Coke in Atlanta, but that doesn't mean Pepsi is weak or anything. Opening a flagship store would not really help out Pepsi too much because profit would not be meaningful enough to put all of that effort into creating one.

Each brand continuously revolves out new products to reach more markets. Recently, Pepsi has been trying to rebrand itself as a helathier and better altrenative, with new products like teas, juices, and other beverages that are not so sugary and not so caloric.

They have no time to try to eliminate knockoffs or store brands like Sam's Cola and such.

It seems that Coca-Cola is in the lead, as it still controls more brands and more sales.
