See the source imageWith the mainstream media telling about how close Trump and Russia are and how they allegedly are involved in some collusion, why don't' we actually look at what happened. Trump has announced more sanctions against Russia and Russian allies. He has imposed sanctions on 7 oligarchs and 17 senior officials and has supported the British move to kick out Russian diplomats by kicking off Russian diplomats from the US. Yes, Trump totally loves Russia.
The sanctions are also being imposed because of the Kremlin's actions in Crimea, eastern Ukraine, and Syria, and basically around the world. The Russians have been conducting "malicious" cyber-activities and these sanctions should target the beneficiaries of the Putin Regime.
So what happens now? Diplomatic tensions are probably not going to get much better between the West and Russia's sphere of influence. However, in America, Trump has taken a softer approach to Putin. He says he wants to be tough on Russia but still wants a good relationship with the leader. Hmmm
