A Hit List

Russia is known for its secrecy and its manipulative and unethical tactics. We know how a Russian and his daughter were poisoned and were not expected to recover but here they are happily recovering now. Now we have another scenario where a Russian defector faked his death and revealed a hit list from Russia's government. Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko was reported as murdered in Ukraine on May 29. As a Kremlin critic, it comes to no surprise that the Russians would want him gone. The Ukrainian government staged his death and even provided pictures of his supposed corpse.

Then, he showed up in a press release alive and well. This was a way the Ukrainian government exposed a plot to assassinate Babchenko. They also found an alleged hit list that the Russian government kept. You know its serious when a foreign government has to pose a death in order to get some dirt on another government. Then again, the relationship between Ukraine and Russia is pretty controversial. Doesn't help that Crimea voted to leave Ukraine and join the Russian Federation. RIP. So yes, this is interesting to say the least. I mean people don't like Russia and people don't really like Ukraine.

Ukraine has little time to come up with concrete proof of Russia's schemes (which we really all know exist) and present it to the EU.
