Au Revoir, Canada

Canada takes a lot of heat for being "fake America". I mean seriously, what's with the Canadian bacon am I right?

So here's the gist. Saudia Arabia just kicked out the Canadian ambassador and has suspended diplomatic relations after Canadian activists started criticizing the human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia. Yeah. Not so good. This is a big deal because Canada is usually just there and doesn't really take a lot of heat. Yet, here we are with Canada taking this major blow.

See the source imageSo what does this mean, well, it seems that Saudi Arabia is still a long shot from becoming a "free nation". Having women drive cars seems like a big deal, but it's because they only just recently allowed women to do so. Rights are still severely limited there and the fact that they got this mad over Canada just shows how reluctant they are to change.

This is the second time that Canada has screwed its relations with another country. In February, Prime Minister Trudeau's visit to India caused a lot of controversy and problems. And now that the US is becoming closer with Saudi Arabia and India, it's a tremendous blow to Canada.
